Urgent Care Clinic

The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry is accepting patients with urgent care needs

The Urgent Care Clinic is designed for anyone who has dental pain or an urgent dental need. The triage urgent care clinic allows us to address immediate dental care needs and refer patients to the appropriate school of Dentistry clinic for ongoing needs.

Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Problem-focused exams
  • Extractions
  • Fillings
  • Treatment for swollen jaws and inflamed gums
  • Repair of broken teeth or dentures
  • X-rays
  • Diagnosis
  • Timely referrals

The Urgent Care Clinic provides services by both appointment (recommended) and walk-ins.

The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry accepts cash and credit cards at the time of appointment and also accepts most private insurance plans, as well as Medical Assistance and Minnesota Care. Services are provided under faculty supervision. Student clinic fees generally run less than what you may find within the Twin Cities community.
