The University of Minnesota Comprehensive Care Dental Clinics feature dental students with undergraduate degrees who will examine you under the supervision of a faculty member, who will closely supervise your treatment. After the exam, you will be assigned with a dental student within a comprehensive care group for further treatment, which will also be under the supervision of a faculty member. Should you need more extensive or complicated work done, you may be referred to the specialty clinics, where dental school graduates train in a particular aspect of dentistry under the supervision of an advanced-trained faculty member.

Because it is a teaching clinic and appointments generally take longer than private practice due to the thorough nature of the appointment, fees are generally 30% less than the average fees in the Twin Cities community. The clinic sees both adults and children.
